The Talons Course

The Talons Course

Originally known as the Links, the Talons opened for play in May of 1992. With few trees, fescue grass and a landscape susceptible to the wind, the Talons was originally designed as a links style golf course. In 2010, award-winning and renowned golf course architect, Thomas McBroom, was commissioned to redesign the links style golf course. The newly renovated Talons course featured changes to the layout including, six new greens, and lavish improvements to the bunkering.

The 18-hole championship Talons course plays a par of 72, and offers five sets of tees ranging from 5,197 yards to 7,209 yards. Featuring five lakes, the meandering Nose Creek, and a variety of challenging bunkers, the Talons course ensures an exceptional golf experience of shot-making strategies. As one of the more challenging tracks in Alberta, you will want to play it again and again to master its subtleties.
